As a Black- and Trans-led force, we deliver life-saving resources that empower queer and trans people nationwide—free binders, breast forms, gaffs, health essentials, and flights to access care or relocate to safety. Two Vital Resources
We eliminate barriers through two essential programs that address immediate needs and long-term safety. From customizable gender-affirming kits to life-saving transportation, we ensure trans people get what they need when they need it most.
Free and fully customizable gender-affirming kits that contain items such as binders, Gender Grip tape, packers, tucking gaffs, breast forms, etc. all through our online storefront; free shipping and no card is needed – ever.
In partnership with a volunteer network of pilots, we provide free private/commercial flights to individuals who need to travel to access gender-affirming care or to move to a safer community.

Why This Matters Right Now
Florida and Texas—two of the most dangerous states for trans and nonbinary people—receive the most kit requests and flight assistance applications. When anti-trans legislation passes, demand spikes immediately.
Trans and nonbinary people are making impossible choices: stay in hostile environments or leave everything behind.

Our Story
The Queer Trans Project began when our founder faced the same barriers we fight against today—financial constraints and systemic gatekeeping that made accessing something as basic as a chest binder feel impossible. That personal struggle sparked a movement that has grown into one of the nation's largest providers of free gender-affirming resources.
What started in 2021 as a direct response to restrictive local organizations has evolved into a lifeline for trans and nonbinary people across all 50 states and territories. As a Black and trans-led nonprofit, we understand the intersectional challenges our community faces and work tirelessly to eliminate every barrier standing between trans people and the resources they need to thrive.
